What we collect, and why

If you submit the enquiry form we collect your name, email address, company (if you give one), the enquiry type you select and your message. We use these solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not use them for marketing, and we do not sell or share them with third parties for their own purposes.

We do not collect any data from you unless you choose to send it.

Lawful basis

We process enquiry details on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the consent box on the form. You may withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us.

Who processes it

Enquiries are delivered by email through our hosting and email providers, who act as processors on our behalf and are bound to keep the data confidential.

How long we keep it

Enquiry correspondence is retained for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, then deleted, unless it forms part of a client engagement record we are required to keep for longer.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable form. Email us and we will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you may complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry data is transmitted encrypted and is accessible only to JJB Calibrated Ltd.
